Paul Brotz is the Industry Co-Chair for the Detroit Postal Customer Council. Mr. Brotz has been collaborating with the United States Postal Services for the past 35, which includes over 25 years of membership with the Detroit Area Postal Customer Councils.

With well over 30 years of experience in the mailing and shipping industry, Mr Brotz is well versed in helping customers and members alike with all of their different mailing requirements. He has been involved with both start-up and existing mailing organizations in helping them grow their business by using the United States Postal Service. Currently he is the COO of Delivery Point Mail Services a Mail Service Provider and workshare partner for parcels and letters.

He is active in many local civic activities which has included coaching girls’ basketball at Salem High School. He is a graduate of Cleary University.

Donald D. Dombrow Jr. was named acting Postmaster, Detroit, MI, Retail and Delivery Operations, Detroit District in August 2020.
In this role, Dombrow is responsible for overseeing operations for customer service and retail operations for thirty stations/branches, 796 Delivery Routes serving 366 thousand customers. The City of Detroit covers the (482) area within the Detroit District. He is responsible for the safety and health of a team of more than 1,200 employees. The Detroit Post Office generated over $287 Million in revenue in 2020 with a total operating budget of $4.7 Million.
Prior to this role, Dombrow served as Manager, Delivery Programs Support for the Great Lakes Area, overseeing operational programs and strategies for 13 Districts. He has held positions as Manager, Operations Programs Support, Manager, Post Office Operations, Postmaster in levels 20-24, and held acting roles as Manager, HR, Manager, Marketing, and District LSS Coordinator, all in the Detroit District.
Previously Dombrow was responsible for managing the implementation of new and modified operations programs and procedures to ensure consistent application of national policies throughout the Detroit District. Focusing on engagement and Lean initiatives he recognized areas for improvement and recommended changes to improve operational efficiency and service.
Dombrow is a Veteran of the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force Dombrow attended the City College of the Air Force and while serving in Europe served as Secretary and Vice President of Toastmasters International at the Hahn AB in Germany. He is a graduate of Executive Foundations, the Advanced Leadership Program, and is Green Belt Certified

Richard T. Moreton has been named as District Manager to the newly realigned Michigan 1 District, Central Area. Rick is the former
Acting District Manager, Detroit District and District Manager, Lakeland District, Great Lakes Area.

Prior to being District Manager, Rick served as the Senior Plant Manager in the Greater Michigan District.

Rick began his postal career in 1985 as a Distribution Clerk in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. He has also served as Supervisor; Postmaster;
Manager, Post Office Operations; and Manager, Operations Programs Support, for Southeast Michigan District, Detroit District and the Greater Michigan District.

He is a graduate of the Advanced Leadership Program, the Management Leadership Program, and the Executive Foundation and Leadership Program.
He is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified. He attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Bob has been a part of the Detroit mail industry scene for 36 years. He is currently the Operations Manager of Pitney Bowe in Romulus. He started as an office employee in 1985 for a local mailing company and has worked his way through the administrative and production end of the industry giving him the well rounded experience needed to manage in today’s environment. His roots are in Southwest Detroit where he stayed until he left to attend Western Michigan University. He currently resides in Brownstown Twp. with his girlfriend Toni Adler and their 2 Yorkies, Max and Sasha. In his spare time he enjoys a relaxing day on the golf course with his friends.

Patricia began her postal career in 1993 as PTF City Carrier at Brightmoor Station. She has held several detailed positions to include Plant Mgr., Detroit P&DC: Postmaster, Detroit: Customer Service Supervisor and CSOM for Area 1 and 2. Throughout her postal career, she has also held the following titled positions: Associate Supervisor, Customer Service Supervisor and Operations Manager-Area2. Patricia is an MLP graduate, green belt certified and bronze certified from Analytics University. She has completed and certified training in PDM. Patricia holds a Bachelor’s in Public Administration from Central Michigan University. She recently was promoted to Manager, Marketing, Detroit District, September 2018.

Dan Lesperance joined the Postal Service in Belleville, Michigan in 1993 as a mail processing clerk and then as a retail window clerk. He was promoted to the Business Development Team as a Small Business Specialist and eBay Days Instructor where he learned Mailing Requirements, Customer Relations, and Selling Skills. Later he was promoted to the USPS Headquarters Field Sales Team, where he worked as a Business Solutions Specialist and Sr. Specialist. He next took a position as Customer Relations Coordinator for the City of Detroit, which handles a variety of customer service activities for both internal and external customers. Currently, Dan is the Detroit District Retail Manager overseeing the Retail Customer Experience at all of the Metro-Detroit Post Offices and does events surrounding stamp releases out in the communities. Dan brings with him a wide variety of knowledge and experience and will be an asset to our customers in the Metro-Detroit area.

Lisa joined the Postal Service in 1994 in Troy Computerized Forwarding Site. In 2000, she was promoted to Consumer Affairs Clerk in SE MI Consumer Affairs Office. As a Consumer affairs Clerk she assisted residential and small business customers with their mailing needs. In 2007, she was promoted to Business Service Network Representative. Lisa was detailed as Manager, Consumer and Industry contact. Lisa overseas the Customer Experience for business customers. Lisa brings with her a wide variety of knowledge and experience and will be an asset to our customers in the Metro-Detroit area.

Lisa T. Mitchell, Field Sales Representative, Detroit District since August 2019. I began my career with the United States Postal Service as a Mark-up Clerk, March 25, 2000. During my 20 year tenure, I've held many positions and have had the pleasure of working in various departments. Including, but not limited to; Human Resources, Labor Relations, Local Services, Finance, Operations Programs Support, In-Plant Support, Equal Employment Opportunity, and the Customer Care Center. I've also, had the pleasure of being a Mail Carrier, Mail Processor, and a Packer Warehouseman at the Material Distribution Center (MDC) in Topeka, KS.
I am most proud of being a Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. I love spending quality time with my family. In my spare time I love to travel, cook, and read.

LaDonna Smith is a Customer Relations Coordinator for the Michigan 1 District. She began her carrier as a letter carrier in 1995 and worked as a Customer Service Supervisor prior to her current assignment. She has a degree in Business Management from Davenport University and is Lean Six Sigma Yellow-Belt Certified. LaDonna takes pride in providing the best customer service experience possible. Her goal is to raise awareness of the value in joining a Postal Customer Council. She works diligently to provide solutions for both business and residential customers. In addition to her primary job duties, LaDonna is current Detroit PCC Administrator and was recognized as Detroit PCC Postal Member of the year in 2019 for her extraordinary commitments.

Carol Zarek joined the Postal Service in Detroit Michigan in 1992 as a mail processing clerk and then as a retail window clerk. She then was promoted to the Business Center as a Sales Associate where she learned Mailing Requirements, Customer Relations, and Communication Skills. Later she was promoted to the Business Service Network, BSN, where she worked as a Specialist, Sr. Specialist, and A/Manager. As a Customer Relations Coordinator for the City of Detroit, she handled a variety of customer service activities for both internal and external customers. She held the position of Business Development Specialist where the main focus is to attract new business by growing the business of existing clients through marketing and sales. Currently, Carol has returned to her roots as the Customer Relations Coordinator for the City of Detroit and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience and will be an asset to our customers in the Michigan area.

Tracy began her postal career in 1993 Small Parcel Bundle Sorter at the GWY and then as Sales Service Associate in Customer Service, Redford Post Office. Tracy has held several detailed positions A/Supervisor CSS and Call Center, A/Manager, and recently A/HR Staffing Specialist. Tracy was promoted to Customer Relations Coordinator in 2015 where she has worked closely with residential customers and the business community. She is Yellow Belt Certified and Bronze certified through Analytics University as well as being a team member of the Detroit Transformation Team where she assisted in improving the Customer Experience for both our residential and business customers. Tracy has a wide variety of postal knowledge and experience.
