Our sessions: 2023-24 USPS Mailing Promotions presenting the various options available and offered tips on layering promos for best discounts presented by experts Roman Godlewski, USPS and Kevin Yost, TGI Direct, Inc. It was a great prelude into our topic presentation; Insights on Integrating Generative A.I. by Rick Ryan, Pitney Bowes Fellow. This session impressed that AI is a tool to amplify human creativity and ingenuity and how to integrate it into their marketing plans. Our guest speaker Eric Henry, VP, Retail and Delivery Operations, presented on status of the USPS emphasizing what the PMG’s 10-year plan is for the Postal Service, intriguing information for all which highlighted where we are heading into the coming years. On August 7 2023, The Detroit PCC, partnered with Graphic Media Alliance (GMA) and The Advertising Production Club of Detroit (APCD) for our 28th Annual Golf Outing at the Links of Novi. It was a huge success as our golfers turned out for an afternoon of golf and fun in semi-great weather and the Links of Novi course was stunning. This year our lead sponsor was Graphic Media Alliance, who not only golfed with us but with their sponsorship helped us reach our goals.
Because of the generosity of our golfers and sponsors, our organizations will continue to offer educational programming to business mailers and newcomers engaged in learning more about marketing using print media. Our programs are targeted to increase knowledge of the importance of what print mail is and how it effects the marketing world.

June 2, 2023 Jimmy John's Picnic
On June 2nd, the Detroit PCC knocked another one out of the park. This year we got our game on at Jimmy John's Field in Utica MI. This was a great opportunity to just sit back and chill on the patio deck in left field. The BBQ meal was great and we all had our fill. After the ball game they had fireworks and they were outstanding. This was a 'first-time' visit to Jimmy John's Field for many of us and we throughly enjoyed it.
Our seats were here in the patio, excellent view of game and fireworks.

2023 Holiday Gala Celebrations
The Detroit (PCC) Postal Customer Council, Michigan One District, celebrated our annual Holiday Gala December 8, 2023, at Sindbad's Marina. Our guests enjoyed delicious food and beverages, and the spirit of the holiday was prompted by our on-site Santa who sang his way into our hearts and got the whole room in the holiday spirit. Having live sax music during our meal was so warming and cozy and allowed us time to mingle. We all had a wonderful time with raffle and holiday games.
