The Postmaster General and Chief Executive Officer, Megan J. Brennan, announced recently,  Jacqueline (Jakki) Krage Strako as Chief Customer and Marketing Officer (CCMO) and Executive Vice President.

Excerpts from Megan’s statement are included below.

“Jakki has served in this role on an acting basis since February and has demonstrated excellent leadership of the CCMO organization.  With her deep understanding of the organization, our customers, and the marketplace, she has quickly advanced corporate strategy development to improve the customer experience, align the Postal Service’s goals to effectively meet customers’ needs, and build a more customer-centric organization in an increasingly digital and rapidly evolving marketplace.

In her role as CCMO, she will oversee all domestic and international product marketing, development and management; and is responsible for the Customer Relations, Product Innovation, Marketing, Global Business, and Sales organizations; as well as the Customer Care Centers, and Stamp Services.

Throughout her 28-year postal career—which has spanned operations, finance, budget, and industrial engineering—she has been a passionate advocate for the customer, and an effective leader, strategist, and problem solver.  In her role as Vice President, Area Operations, Great Lakes Area, Jakki oversaw a workforce of more than 61,000 employees, and was responsible for all aspects of operations, marketing, and customer engagement across five states in the Great Lakes Area.

Jakki holds an undergraduate degree in industrial engineering from the University of Iowa, a master’s degree in business administration from DePaul University, and executive program certificates in executive management, financial management, and strategy and organization, from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
